A response to Clayton Lindhorst

On that dark gloomy day, I start to melt. I try to run away before it's too late. I start to look around, down at my feet, my hands. Am I turning into my worst nightmare? My flesh slowly fades away. I am turning into a monster because of you. Your kiss, so delicate to the touch. You melted me away. Let me go. I don’t wish to live like this. Set me free.

I start to run faster, but with no despair. The light slowly fades away and soon I am overcome with darkness because of you. Will I see and end to this madness? Held back by your love, your sorrow given to me. Break me free from your chains. I run through the forrest with no ease. Twigs prick my feet, twigs scratch my legs and arms. But worse, you're the chain that cuts into my wrists.
